If you are on HOLIDAY in Port Elizabeth  and would like to take part in a bit of easy outdoor activity; Contact Peter Giddy Guided Tours at peter.giddy@gmail.com

I organise combo tours such as a morning hike followed by a visit to a Wildlife Reserve or other suitable activity.
Also a variety of Overnight, Garden Route and wildlife experiences.

Wednesday 26th September

I pick up Robin and David and we drive to Sardinia Bay Beaches where we meet the group.

It is a wonderful sunny day with a bit of a west wind blowing.
A good day for a walk and a bit of socialising.

So we begin the walk over the dunes and then the long (4km) walk in a Westerly direction with this amazing sound of the waves crashing around us.
Does not take us long before we are almost at the point where the Beacons show is that it is time for a break.
We gather together for a snack of fruit or sandwiches.  During this whole exercise we chat almost non stop.  Almost as bad as our running group!
Di and Marjorie on this beautiful beach walk
Jenny and Jimmy.  For a while we thought that Jimmy had taken over the leadership role.
Robin and Russell.  Robin is the Real Leader of this group today.  Russell and I had a long chat about her doing Locum for BnB;s
Sheilah; Jenny and Dave ... Huge surf in the background.  Lovely firm sand for walking during low tide.
After the break we turn around back Eastwards.  The tide has been receding and we have an easy walk on fairly hard sand.

As we approach the car park we walk over the dunes which is really not at all difficult with the firmly compressed sand and back to our cars.
We greet each other and head back home for a well earned lunch after 2.5 hours of walking and chatting.
