I pick up guests at 8.00am and we drive towards Tsitsikamma with a stop at Jeffreys Bay.
Daniel and Elly receive instructions on how to do Zip Lining from Bonga
Daniel has a blast. He simply loved this adventure and wanted to know when he could do this all over again.
Elly soon had the activity under control with pinpoint landings.
Elly; Daniel and Peter on the platform after the walk up from the fastest cable crossing.
Our first adventure activity is the Tsitsikamma Falls Zip Lining.
For both Daniel and Elly this is a first time taking part in Zip Line activity. But within a few minutes they look like they are experienced and old hands at this.
The first three of the crossings are reasonably slow and braking is not required. Thereafter the speed and length of the slides picks up and we have some real fun.
Our Guides are Charles who has been with this business since inception 14 years ago and Bonga. Charles explains the safety features.... He personally checks the cables every morning before anyone else is allowed on the lines. But in addition to this there is an external examiner who inspects all aspects of the cables and safety equipment every three months. And all equipment and cables must be completely changed every five years.
We have a great time and look forward to the next opportunity to take part in this fun activity.
Daniel and Elly walking the Storms River Bridge to the view points
We continue to the Storms River Bridge where we walk across the bridge to take in the magnificent views.
After the Bridge we drive to Tsitsikamma Nature Reserve. I have preprepared the documentation and we zip though formalities and drive down to the Coast -- This is a treat every time I come here. But today the sea is reasonably calm and the Kayaks are going out with many walkers on the trail to the River Mouth.

Daniel looks down towards the Suspension Bridges.

Behind Daniel you can see the Kayaks as they paddle up river
We walk down to the Suspension Bridges where we see the Kayakers paddling underneath us.
Picnic Lunch at the Blaaukrans River Bridge where we watch the Bungy Jumpers
After our walk we are tired and hungry so we drive onwards to the Blaaukrans River Bridge and watch the Bungy Jumpers while we enjoy our picnic lunch. Daniel and Elly have icecream to end the meal after which we drive back to Port Elizabeth.
This was a most pleasant, if exhausting day. Good fun and great friendships
