I am still battling with a knee injury and not able to run. I have, unfortunately become accustomed to a late lay in bed.
The first weekend in October is a victory for SA as the Springboks beat Australia in Pretoria and the Proteas beat Australia at the Wanderers and in Durban.
Barbara and I visit Lynne and Derrick Jolliffe for tea.  Dave and Glenda Adams are there as well.
Monday 3rd.  Barbara and I drive to Plett where we meet up with Patrick and his family. Patrick and I have a meeting with the accountant and executor of Ena's Estate (Giles).
Wednesday 5th:  I have a direct enquiry as a result of Trip Advisor recommendations. And arrange to have a braai at Jacks Picnic spot instead of going to the Restaurant in the Addo Camp.  This is my first time to do this and is a whole new experience for me.  Turns out a success and the clients appear to enjoy the Braai.

Friday 7th.

Tsitsikamma Hiking trail
We have a great hike from Boscor to Storms River Bridge.  On the trail this weekend are Taegan (its her hike) and her friend Kaitlin; Cronje; Claudine and Benjamin;  Danni and Dave (King George B & B); Gordon; Shelley; Josie (Birthday girl on Sunday 9th) and friend Jasmine; Kevin and Viv (MPRG) and Andrew.  15 of us complete the walk on Sunday morning. It was overcast and cool for most of the time so the apparent over dressing in this pic.

David Riek -- Gails husband -- had, what first appeared to be a minor motor bike accident; he was in hospital and this morning, after a set back, died of heart failure. Barbara, Gail and her family were with him.

Thursday morning I collect Anna and Anne (Germany) for a full day Addo tour.  We hear that the two male lions are near to Addo Heights Road and go there first. But there is a huge traffic jam so I turn around and do a Harveys Loop where we see Elephant up close; Lots of Kudu; birds; Warthog; and enjoy the drive. We then go back to see if we can see the Lions and are rewarded with one of the males walking around while they had been sleeping the whole morning. It seems that they were guarding a carcass. While we are waiting here Anne pours us some hot chocolate.
ANNE AND ANNA -- DOMKRAG LOOK OUT.
ELEPHANT NEXT TO THE CAR ON HARVEYS
ROCK LIZZARD ON MBABALA.  LOST ITS TAIL AND NOW GROWING A NEW ONE.
We then continue on North and have lunch at the main camp. After lunch we see a couple of sleeping Jackal below Suurkop and then on Mbabala Loop we see a Rock Lizzard which is regrowing its tail.
From there we come across many Elephant next to the car and eventually, on Ngulube loop we see a couple of Buffalo next to the car, a huge herd of Buffalo in the distance, two Jackal calling for one another and a Rooikat.
We end the tour with a sun-downer of Sherry before heading home.
